Co-founders and team at FAST-NUCES Islamabad: a packed booth, final-year project walk-throughs with talented students, and resumes in hand for upcoming Matrix AE roles.
May 13, 2026
A few years ago, showing up at a university job fair meant pitching ideas on someone else's stand. This week at FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus, Matrix AE had its own table at the 2026 job fair, and the room told a different story: we are not only hiring for client work, we are building a team around our own products and delivery.
Fahad Ramzan, co-founder Sheheryar Ramzan, Farquleet Farhat Gondal, and the rest of the team represented Matrix AE at the fair. What we did not anticipate was how quickly our allocated space would fill. Throughout the day, students stopped by in steady waves to ask about AI, automation, computer vision, and the internships and roles we have open on our careers page.
Between stretches at the booth, we also visited a number of final-year project demos around campus. Each stop was a chance to see working prototypes, hear how teams framed their problem, and trade ideas with some of the sharpest undergraduates we have met this year.
The conversations were the highlight. Several visitors brought thoughtful project ideas and clear curiosity about how small teams ship production-grade software. Others wanted to understand how Matrix AE balances client delivery with products such as Chrome extensions and internal platforms. We left with a stack of resumes and a short list of follow-ups we intend to honor in the coming weeks.
If you spoke with us at FAST-NUCES, thank you for your time and for sharing your work. We kept your materials on file, and you may hear from us soon as we match profiles to open internship and contributor tracks.
We are grateful to Fatima Ishtiaq and Faisal Yaseen for ushering support throughout the event, which kept the booth organized when traffic peaked. Events like this remind us why we invest in campuses: the talent is already here; our job is to offer serious projects, mentorship, and a path from fair conversations to real commits on real code.
