Two live modules at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for faculty and graduates: no-code agentic workflows and RAG-style chatbots, built on n8n, Make, Zapier, and more, with real demos in the room.

We were honored to deliver a hands-on AI automation workshop at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), College of Computer and Information Sciences, focused on how automation is reshaping industries. The session was designed for faculty members and graduate students: what automation brings to the table, and how lean teams can compete by working smarter without inflating headcount.
We ran two full modules with live builds, not slide-only theory.
Module 1, Building no-code AI and agentic workflows, walked through automating internal operations, invoice and OCR-style agents, AI-assisted social workflows, and appointment booking systems participants could adapt to their own units.
Module 2, Custom retrieval-augmented chatbots, covered conversational automation design, WhatsApp bots, AI-assisted email bots, and website RAG chatbots, with emphasis on flows that stay maintainable after launch.
We worked across platforms teams can adopt immediately, including n8n, Make, Langdock, Botpress, MuleSoft, Celigo, Zoho, and Zapier, with hands-on reps on production-grade workflows rather than toy demos.
Examples that resonated included a university chatbot handling routine academic queries to reduce load on student services, a marketing automation story where recurring tooling spend reportedly dropped from roughly fifteen hundred dollars a month to roughly fifty, and an HR workflow that screens CVs, scores candidates, and sends structured follow-up email.
Once people saw working systems on screen, the conversation moved quickly from what is AI to what in our domain can be automated next. That shift surfaced real process gaps where manual work still dominates, which is where we focus as Matrix AE: reliable, accurate, accessible automation.
Thank you to Abdul Aziz, Fahman Saeed, and Sulieman Salem Alshuhri for the warm welcome and seamless logistics, and to Dr. Shehzad Khalid for entrusting us with the stage. Grateful to present alongside co-founder Sheheryar Ramzan and to everyone who brought energy to the room. We look forward to collaborations that spin out of this community.
